Review:

Liberating itself from the annoyances of book 1, High Flyer is a much better story.   It's a mystery story, but not one like most audio AIO mysteries; this one takes on the style of an Agatha Christie book.  Unlike the books on either side of this one, it contains almost no references to other parts of Odyssey that will pop up later.

An engaging mystery from the beginning, the story keeps you guessing until the very end, throwing in various references that alternately throw us off the trail and lead us closer to the answer.  Mark uses some pretty good detective tricks at various points in the story and its all told very believably.  I don't want to say much more about the mystery since it's so well-crafted.

This mystery does lack some of the power of the audio mysteries.  This one is only about a slashed tire instead of a murder mystery or robbery.  No one's future is really at stake like the audio mysteries, but it still is a fun one to figure out.
